Watchdog blacklists premium car service Wheely’s website

MOSCOW, Jul 22 (PRIME) -- The Russian communications regulator has added the website of Wheely, a service of hailing premium cars with drivers, to the register of banned resources and requested that forbidden information be deleted, the authority said on Friday in a statement.

“The communications regulator has received a decision by the Meshchyansky District Court of Moscow on finding the information placed on the website of car service Wheely as prohibited. On the basis of the court decision, the communications authority sent a request to the resource’s owner on the necessity to delete the banned information and added the information resource to the single register of banned information,” the statement read.

The information on the website on commercial activities without accredited branches or representative offices in Russia as well as non-provision of data to the state information system was prohibited.
